  • Organizational Development
  • Strategic Planning

currently teach in the School of Business Administration at Kent State University, guiding the next generation of business leaders and staying up to date with best practices . I get to leverage these leading-edge concepts every day
with my business clients to improve their outcomes.

How It All Began

My first job out of college was with a coal company in eastern Kentucky. I was hired to train the miners how not to get hurt or killed in the mines—although I knew nothing about mining.

I quickly learned there’s no substitute for actually going to the workplace and talking with my “students” there. I also discovered that I didn’t need to know a lot about coal mining…the experts were already in the room. Together, we built a great safety program.

Today, I offer a great deal of experience and knowledge about operations improvement, organizational development, and culture change. But I take the same collaborative approach as I did way back then. I learn just as much from you as you do from me.
